The Opportunity
The role's objectives are to manage the CPIMS (child protection information management system) database, collect, process, and distribute accurate, timely data about unaccompanied, separated, and other vulnerable children, as well as to periodically share the consolidated data with internal and external partners and stakeholders. Furthermore, confirm and amend entries, keep accurate records regularly, and carry out general support tasks as delegated. Under immediate supervision and technical guidance, the CPIMS data entry clerk takes on the obligations assigned to the purpose and completes all routine tasks in compliance with a well-established framework of policies and procedures.
First Degree and/or Advanced Diploma in Information Communication Technology, Information Management, Information Technology, Secretary Science, Data Management, or related fields.
Minimum of three and above years of experience in data and information management.
Secretarial skills and excellent computer operation skills are required.
A candidate who has a good understanding of different software intended for Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS/CPIMS+) is a plus requirement.
Languages required:
Fluency in the English language is essential.
Knowledge of the local language is advantageous.
Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)
Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed under the appropriate procedures.
Ensures that all staff sign safeguarding policies;
Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.
