Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Align Quality Goals and Objectives with Business Strategic Objectives.

  • Drive a Safety Culture though the Organizational Understanding of the systems.

  • Ensure that product and quality standards are established and monitored according to legal, internal and EAI requirements.

  • Ensure that raw material and package quality is monitored to agreed standards.

  • Ensure Good Laboratory Practices are implemented.

  • Establish, maintain, and implement a documented management system that includes all Quality, Occupational Health and Safety as well as Environmental requirements.

  • To assist, develop and maintain company SHEQ programs and systems in written format and recording and through face to face contact, communication and team briefing.

  • To support line management in delivering SHEQ objectives.

  • Determines the strategic direction and work priorities (in conjunction with line management) for the continuous improvement of the company SHEQ management programs and systems.

  • Advises line management and assists with the implementation of new or existing SHEQ-related legislation, rules and Company standards to include fire prevention, health and safety awareness training, site inspections of our company and cleaning sites.

  • Liaison with HR Dept. for initiating training plan and updating information for personal, audit requirements.

  • Retain all current quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of new quality accreditations.

  • Produces and coordinates the yearly SHEQ action plan and longer term SHEQ roadmap, prepares reports for monthly update of it to Management Meetings.

  • Monitors the company “permit-to-work” system to ensure compliance with Company standards.

  • Continuously improve the Q-HSE processes and practices

  • Define all internal quality rules and standards and ensure their implementation.

  • Follow-up and manage Quality measures, correction of non-compliance and improvement action plan implementation.

  • Plan and coordinate entity internal audits and third party audits for certification.

  • Organize Quality monthly meeting with the management and Quality Committee members to monitor the Quality in the entity

  • Organize Processes review at least every 6 months

  • Organize the Management Review once a year

  • Manage all relationship and certification issues and planning with certification bodies (ISO and others)

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering 

  • 7 years of experience in quality assurance & control
