Job Description
Reporting to Brewing Manager, the Brewing team leader will lead, coordinate, and control the activities of production department in his/her shift. He evaluates shift work progress and takes on time corrective actions and confirm whether the work plans are going efficiently. Maintains compliances on IMS, in lined with established policies and procedures of the company.
Under close supervision of Brewing manager,
Follow and ensure machineries are properly operated to prevent possible loss of extracts, non-conforming intermediate/finished products and down times.
Ensure the availability of materials and readiness of machineries before daily production startup.
Evaluate all analysis results with QC team and take proper corrective actions to ensure consistent product and process qualities are maintained.
Record all process and consumption data are on their right reporting format and/or logbooks.
Prepare work instructions and necessary operating formats for all equipment in the department.
Evaluate the activity of the shift is completed and properly handed over to the next shift.
Support operators when necessary to ensure collaboration among the team.
Check and control that processing area’s hygienic standards are maintained every time.
Lead by example to ensure the personal hygiene of workers, use of proper PPEs and GMP is maintained in his/her shift.
Provide relevant training, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
Check and approve the correctness of concentration, temperatures and other parameters of CIP solutions standard before starting CIP.
Prepare periodic reports and submit them on a timely basis.
Spend a great deal of time on the floor of brewery, making sure that staff are working efficiently, and the production process is running smoothly.
Inventory Management: Keeping track of raw materials and chemicals, ensuring accurate inventory and quality management.
Perform other duties which will be given by his/her supervisors.
Academic requirement:
BSC in Industrial/Applied chemistry, Biology, Food science or related fields
Work experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Brewery industry
