Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out standard accounting procedures and prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and bank reconciliation statements.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Review and analyze financial data to create detailed reports on financial status based on analysis results.

• Ensure that all cash vouchers and relevant documents are fully signed and authorized.

• Monitor monthly income and expenditures, providing advice and guidance as necessary.

• Manage all bank account operations, including preparing fund transfers or other bank documents and monitoring account balances.

• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, providing monthly feedback to the responsible manager.

• Administer creditors and debtors, including local subsidies and consultants.

• Maintain and follow up the reconciliation of balance sheets and general ledger accounts.

• Maintain office inventory records and document purchased and distributed materials.

• Coordinate year-end closing activities and assist with financial auditing, both internal and external.

• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

• Maintain a professional filing and retrieval system for the Financial Section while ensuring confidentiality.

• Assist with other organizational tasks and activities as assigned.

Academic Qualification:

• BA/MBA in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and task-prioritization abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, ERP).

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of a local/regional language is a plus).

• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated with a result-oriented attitude and a well-organized work ethic.

• Preferably, experience in the preparation of financial reports.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
