Job Description

Role purpose:

Reporting to Senior CVM specialist, the data analytics developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, & supporting the data mart for the CVM (Customer Value Management) platform.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:

· Data modelling, designing and supporting data storage in the data mart.

· Perform various operations on data including validation, cleansing and transformations to generate useful information.

· Develop PLSQL / SQL procedures for data extraction, manipulation and reporting.

· Perform query optimization, query profiling and utilize query performance monitoring tools and techniques.

· Develop and utilize advanced analytics to enable the business to make data-driven decisions.

· Provide reporting and analytical support of the CVM data mart to the business units.

· Assist with data governance and data quality management.

Job Requirements

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

· BS or MS in computer science or equivalent practical experience

· At least 2-3 years’ experience in data modelling, designing and supporting data storage in relational databases.

· At least 2 years of Experience in developing data pipelines or extract transform load jobs

· At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle and MSSQ

· Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoD

· Coding experience using Java/python/R/SQL/ PLSQL

· Experience in collecting, storing, processing and analysing large volumes of data.

· Proficient understanding of databases at the logical, physical, and conceptual levels.

· Understanding of big data technologies
