Salary: Competitive salary as per organisational pay scales

Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent 

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with travels to the field 

The holder of the position will take the overall technical lead in supporting other staff and communities in Sustainable Agriculture by building their capacity in Agroecology practices, Livestock Management and climate resilience. He/She will provide advice and build capacity of staff to support project participants and communities determine their resources, plans, actions and to ensure efficient and effective sustainable agriculture farm enterprises.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Livestock production, Horticulture, with a specialty in either extension services, environmental science, soil and water management, Organic/Ecological Agriculture or other related fields is essential. Skills and Experience in implementing Agroecology, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Farming are essential.
