Job Description
The purpose of this role is to implement, monitor field level project activities in collaboration with district level stakeholders. Besides, the community worker/s is/are expected to facilitate project interventions at district level aiming at improving the social cohesions of the community through organizing and supporting a continuous meeting and discussions in the project operational areas using DIALOGUES intervention techniques.
Facilitate and undertake project implementation within the project area to ensure outputs are reached on time and within budget
Mobilize and create awareness of the communities to experience the cultures of dialogues to practice a peaceful conflict resolution mechanism
·Mobilize and create awareness to the community on community-based organization,
Mobilize the community members to take active participations in the realizations of the connector activities b/n the two communities that brings a social cohesions and trust so that sense of ownership is developed properly,
Ensure smooth relationship between members of the two communities to increase the social cohesion,
Participate in proper screening/selection of beneficiary members during different trainings, workshops, and inputs distribution,
Follow up and monitor if the trainings and inputs are properly addressed and used for the intended purpose and as per the aspired objective,
Ensure timely repayment of different inputs distributed and loan access created by the cooperatives,
Follow up, monitor and provide all the necessary support together with the GO line offices if the financial transaction, documentation and others are in line with GO and WVE policies
Closely work with the project officers and make an information exchanges including periodical reports
Facilitate and Participate on different monitoring carried out within the project,
Collect all necessary data of the project in the respective Kebele compile and submit timely and required quality,
Prepare all necessary reports timely and as per the required quality,
Attend, participate and provide all necessary technical guide on different meetings
Work all additional assignments provided by the project officer and other staffs timely and required quality,
Coordinate and arrange the annual Steering Committee meetings and the annual Technical Working Group (TWG) forums
Participate in collection of data from field, and ensure that data-collection protocols are fully adhered to and submit timely,
Fit as a duty holder and performance, Smooth workflow and effective implementation of planned works
Facilitate and engage the community and stakeholders in participatory assessments to identify potentials, problems and development opportunities of project interventions.
Work closely with project Officer and staff in assessment and identification of appropriate targets, and engage in promoting and dissemination of the successful outcomes with.
Frequently move to the operational kebeles and sites and support all engagements like community dialogues.
Travelling all woredas and support the dialogues process
Collect Success stories and organize the reports.
Timely, efficient work performance, Safe and effective resource handling with stewardship
Network with relevant government offices, FBO and CBO in the project area to expedite project implementation and facilitate experience sharing within and outside the Kebele.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
University degree in social work, sociology, psychology, child protection, public health and relevant fields of social sciences. Knowledge and skills of and ability to implement integrated CP responses, including Gender Based Violence. Awareness of or interest in community-based protection mechanism
Required Professional Experience
First degree in social work, sociology, psychology, education or other eleven fields.
At least one-year relevant experience in child protection and related areas,
Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming an asset.
Knowledge of and ability to implement integrated CP responses, including Gender Based Violence.
Awareness of or interest in community-based protection mechanisms.
Direct case management and experience working with children and adolescents is an asset.
Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in planning and problem solving
