Job Description
Chemonics International seeks experienced professionals for the USAID-funded Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM Ethiopia will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve the country’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global and local health initiatives.
The Closeout Specialist will work closely with the Country Director and Deputy Country Director for Operations, receiving remote support and mentorship from Chemonics Home Office. This role is essential for ensuring administrative compliance and proper documentation across various processes, including procurement, finance, human resources, facilities, and inventory management. Qualifications:
At least four (4) years of experience working in finance and/or operations required, with previous experience supporting a donor-funded project and prior project closeout experience preferred
Experience with USAID policies, procedures, and systems preferred
International field experience and demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, integrity, and a problem solving, proactive, positive attitude
Fluency in English (both written and oral) required
