Lead & carrying out of corporate financial analysis effectively by designing financial policies, directives, and manuals, controlling the

financial performance reports to be prepared in the stated time and standards, develop measurable and standardized report format, as well as checking up the financial analysis and other financial performance reports to be prepared on the stated time intervals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Lead the planning, organizing, and coordination of financial analysis activities in NIGAT Corporate. 

  • Designs financial policy, directives, and manuals applicable for carrying out the financial analysis and oversee its implementation up on approval. 

  • Compile financial analysis documents and records and consult with the Chief Finance Officer about techniques and results.

  • Follows up, make companies receivable and payables analysis by age, and suggest comment based on the analysis. 

  • Prepares the corporate consolidated financial performance reports to show profit and losses and give professional comment with recommendations

  • Checks up the performances of all the necessary financial analysis that have been carried out; and providing the possible solutions based on the results of the analysis. 

  • Carries out financial analysis based on the findings of external and internal auditors. 

  • Develops the corporate debt financing systems by carrying out adequate financial analysis. 

  • Develops financial report formats and controlling the financial performance reports to be prepared on time based on the developed financial performance report formats. 

  • Prepares and submits the financial analysis and other related performance reports to the concerned bodies on time.

  • Participates on the preparation of the regular and non-regular budgeting programs. 

  • Carries out the general ratios and break-even analysis of the corporate.

  • Prepares all the corporate financial reports such as balance sheet, income statements (profits and loss) and other related reports. 

  • Reconciles and reports bank and other related accounts. 

  • Checks up the accuracy of financial account recordings such as account receivables, account payables and other related accounts.

  • Records account receivables, account payables and other related accounts based on the accounting data. 

  • Checks up the formality, legality, and accuracy of the financial documents before the payment of any basic salary and recurrent accounts. 

  • Follows up accounting documents to be settled on time. 

  • Lead the preparation of general accounting reports at the end of each month and reporting it to the immediate superior.

  • Records the collection of the corporate’s   internal   revenues

  • Provides a well-organized financial document for internal and external auditors to be served and used for auditing purposes.

  • Identifies and informs any alternative systems enhancing for performing accounting activities.

  • Perform other related duties when assigned by the Chief. 

Job Requirements

  • MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Cooperative Accounting & Auditing, Financial Management, Finance and Investment, Business Management or related fields.

Experience

  • 8 years of relevant work experience for MSc/MA and 10 years for BA/BSc degree.

SkillS Required

  • Having good experience in financial management and analysis, team-work sprit, good ethical behavior, good customer handling and serving approach skill, willingness to accept changes and implement it; no prior disciplinary records, recommendable/accepted for the position; accepting the given responsibility and being committed for overcoming responsibilities; good previous performance history and working discipline.
