Job Description

The Draft Specialist is responsible for optimizing all aspects of the sales service experience to provide standardized, smooth, tangible, responsive, reliable, and competent customer services with intended purpose of customer satisfaction and build the company products image in the customer’s mind to retain and make loyal for the company products. It involves an after sales service of following up and coordinating the in the regions with technical team that maintains and cleans the draft machines to sales operation to ensure draft kegs are available and sales opportunities are met. It involves customer care service to ensure customer requests are captured and dealt with as well as following up on customers satisfaction and collecting feedback. It has critical interface with Regional sales team to ensure that executions are made as per agreed draft execution standards to meet sales targets and improve consumer experience by providing expert analysis and feedback on consumer trends, technical knowledge as well as recommendations on activations and promotional mechanisms. The job involves a fair amount of facts and situations of diagnosing innovative ways to maximize sales and market share, and handle customer complaints which require high level analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options and decisions, Problem Solving. Communication is within and/ or outside the company. i.e., sales manager, draft technic team of the company, customers, etc. This is the communication part where there is active situation to communicate with top management, clients, suppliers, government officials etc. The role also has a physical effort which are normally obtained using some tools and types of equipment. There is also a need for a Mental Effort concentration to deal with technical issues and performance of equipment

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and Meet draft business volume in collaboration with Field sales and sales operations

  • Follow up and coordinate with technical team for the Maintenance, Installation and cleaning service auditing and performance evaluation

  • Provide outlets with quick technical consultations for quick fixes that don’t require call-in and full-time technicians.

  • Train sales team and agents’ team on basic draft sanitation and troubleshooting.

  • Train Bar staff, Bar tenders on draft poring and perfect serving of draft

  • Maintain data base of all regional Draft machines, POS and all relevant data

  • Maintain a database of C02 cylinders, process, planning and distribution.

  • Communicate with agents, outlets, sales team on C02 service.

  • Ensure no stock out of Co2s and follow up supply very closely

  • Actively design and implement Promotional campaigns for draft for both sell-in to agents, depletion as well as sell-out to consumers.

  • Collaborate actively with Trade Marketing for the design of Draft execution standards, design of promotional campaigns, POS materials and Execution of the standards

  • Plan, budget and execute draft business expenses that include, promotion, purchase of spare parts, Draft machine purchase, etc

  • Identification, collection and analysis of market data and information and subsequently drawing up a clear report on key findings to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

  • Distributor engagement and In-field Sales experience within the Beverage or FMCG industry.

  • Good understanding of the beer market especially tier classification and hot spot areas within the distributor territory.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all competitor activities (RtM, Distributor dynamics, Trade Activity and Promotions (LOS), Market shares etc…).

  • Knowledge of forecasting, material planning and purchasing processes

  • Proven sales campaign management abilities

  • Solid planning and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to convince and influence people, find solutions and be assertive when required.

  • Diploma or BA degree in a relevant field of Study, Refrigeration maintenance or related fields,

  • 5-6 years’ sales operations experience in an FMCG
