Job Description
Employment Type: permanent with flexible working hours

Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day accounting transaction
Records daily sales transactions and expenses with Peachtree
Undertakes reconciliation and posting subsidiary ledgers with general ledgers
Prepares /Check cash payments and cash receipt vouchers with the appropriate documents
Prepares , Check, reconciles, and declares Income tax, Pension Contribution, Withholding tax, cost sharing, stamp duty, and VAT to the appropriate government Organization monthly
Maintains and controls stock
Posts incoming and outgoing stock into the system
Reconciles inventory accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepares weekly, monthly, annual reports for inventory valuation
Prepare Journal Voucher monthly
Prepares and check daily laborer payroll Weekly/biweekly
Prepare Employee salary (including payroll reconciliation)
Prepares and follows up of Daily cash Flow
Maintains fixed asset record
Prepares Weekly and Monthly management reports
Supports closing of annual financial report
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
B.A degree in Accounting and Finance and other related fields
With a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in merchandising/construction/manufacturing companies/factories
Competencies:
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practice with Ethiopia tax law
Proven expertise and practical experience in Peachtree Accounting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team work
