Job Description

The HR and Admin Coordinator is expected to follow the critical HR and administration activities such as smoothening employee relations, recruitment, payroll and management of utilities, fleets and more. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.

  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.

  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.

  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.

  • Deal with disciplinary actions.

  • Onboard new joiners.

  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and post information onto designated records.

  • Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.

  • Complete time sheets showing employees’ arrival and departure times.

  • Oversee effective implementation of company’s fleet and other utilities Management.

  • Liaise with public utilities (water, power and telecom services) to ensure continuous service provision

  • Monitor timely bill settlement for external service providers.

  • Coordinate works with other units of the Company.

  • Manage outsourced facility service contracts and relationships.

  • Oversee the provision of essential central services such as utilities and communication.

Job Requirements

  • Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree Management, Business Management and in other similar positions.

  • Work Experience: A minimum of 6 (six) years of demonstrated work experience with at least 2 (two) years as a Senior HR and Admin professional. 

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector. 

  • Excellent people management. 

  • Experience in HRIS. 

  • Excellent negotiation and problem solving ability. 

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Fluency in Amharic, Affan Oromo and English, written and verbal is highly required.
