Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports, including standard costs, variances, and profitability analysis.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct cost studies and provide recommendations for cost control and reduction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support decision-making.

• Monitor inventory levels and analyze related costs.

• Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and procedures.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all cost-related entries are accurate.

• Assist in internal and external audits as required.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact cost accounting practices.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Education level

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required level of experience

• 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
