Job Description

Tour Operation
Ticketing Agent

Event management and commissioning services
Trading and
One Ride meter taxi service
Coordinate import & export including sea fright booking, land transportation and dealing with the relevant documents and authorities;
Be responsible for documents related to import and export and any related tasks;
Coordinate with internal and external parties in order to ensure the completeness of the document submission process;
Coordinate with shipping/cargo functions;
Manage to deliver the tasks related to P/O, Invoice, Packing lists and other related tasks
Create import/export documentation;
Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation;
Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import and export issues associated with all shipments;
Assist in handling and resolving freight claims;
Review thoroughly and print all import documentation to ensure full Import;
Compliance, per Ethiopian Customs rules and regulations, inclusive of recordkeeping;
Maintain electronic records including daily import activity log;
Import and Export Freight Costs Data, Import/Export tracking for Ethiopian Customs and the Company’s Finance Division, where needed;
Attend off site trade conferences and webinars for training and fulfillment of essential functions and key responsibilities;
Assist in process of Drawback claims as needed;
Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities;
Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters;
Track, trace and report shipments to ensure timely delivery to the Company’s warehouse;
Review for accuracy and Process freight invoices and broker bills;
All other duties as required or needed.

Brief Description: The Senior Import Export officer is directly reporting to the Tour Trading and Commissioning Director of the company. He/she is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling the Import Export functions. The Senior import and export Officer take care of the import/export process, as well as ensures compliance with international government laws as well as guidelines. Speeds up the flow of website traffic to/from foreign destinations, consisting of personalized documents and also transportation.

Minimum BA degree in International Business or Business Management or Management or Economics or Marketing Management or other related fields
Minimum of 4 years of experience related to the field narrated above and dealing with forwarder or oversea shipping agent;
Very Good knowledge of import and export business procedures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skill is mandatory.
