Job Description
ALTA Computec PLC, a leading provider of innovative end-to-end IT solutions in Ethiopia, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales initiatives by providing technical expertise and crafting tailored solutions for our diverse clientele.
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand the client's business requirements and technical challenges to propose the most suitable IT Hardware and solutions
Demonstrate and showcase ALTA Computec's product and service offerings, highlighting their features, benefits, and value proposition
Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective solution presentations and proof-of-concept demonstrations
Provide technical guidance and support during the pre-sales process, addressing client queries and concerns
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to enhance the company's competitive edge
Participate in pre-sales activities, such as solution design, technical assessments, and feasibility studies
Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to stay informed about new developments and product roadmaps
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years and above work experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, or related profession preferably in the IT industry
2nd Grade Drivers License
Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with a wide range of IT solutions, including infrastructure, cloud, security, and enterprise applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address client challenges
Proficiency in Windows and various enterprise software platforms
Certification(s) from leading technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are highly desirable
Fluency in English
