Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular audits of laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify areas for improvement.

• Implement corrective actions to address identified issues.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance programs.

• Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.

• Provide training and support to laboratory staff on quality assurance practices.

• Prepare and present quality assurance reports to management.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints and incidents.

• Participate in external audits and inspections.

• Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.

• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met.

• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation.

• Ensure that laboratory tests are performed accurately and efficiently.

• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the laboratory.

Job Requirements

Laboratory Quality Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.

• Certification in Quality Assurance or related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 and above years of experience in a laboratory setting.

• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulatory standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

• Ability to conduct audits and inspections.

• Knowledge of quality management systems and tools.

• Ability to develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

• Experience in training and supporting laboratory staff.

• Ability to prepare and present quality assurance reports.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong project management skills.
