Job Description

As a Demand & Supply Planner you will plan raw materials, finished goods & production according to demand, stock level, manpower, Raw Materials and packaging availability, and machine capacity for part of production and/or specific products within a Segment. This role is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Make realistic a production & purchase schedule for part of Production or for specific products for Segments by gathering and analyzing customer demand and transferring this demand to a daily plan by balancing between On Time in Full (OTIF), inventory levels, and production costs.

  • Develop and analyze KPIs relevant to the assigned area and support improvement initiatives.

  • Actively develop planning process by utilizing existing functionalities in ERP as well as implementing new ones according to best practices for planning in Jotun Operations System.

  • Establish tight communication with Purchasing, CSD, Sales, and Production to have the best information for the daily plan.

Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field

  • 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
