Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets.  Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Purpose :- 

• To support the company secure loan from different financial institutions by creating and maintaining long term relationships. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Forward new loan applications or additions; ensures that request is consistent with company’s  business nature and cash flow, and that supporting documents for bank financing are completed and delivered to the respective bank on time;

• Follow up the daily progress of all loans and advance requests

• Maintaining up to date business plans, copies of: Audited financial statements, interim Financial statements, renewed investment/ trade licenses,  tax clearances of all our companies

• Review and Check correctness of all loan and mortgage contracts, guarantee instruments before they are signed by company signatory.

• Corresponds with banks and insurances and make sure that collaterals are covered with insurance policies, follow-up for its timely renewal and approved loans are disbursed;

• Insure all Overdraft accounts are timely renewed

• Arrange and ensures the proper registration of all securities offered as collateral to banks by using property registration book and making sure that proper handing and taking over is in place ;

• File all  correspondences with banks and insurances;

• Maintaining coffee stock record and availing the report to bank’s when required

• Evaluates financial costs (interest expenses and charges),  make comparison between financing banks, compiles and submits to supervisor with recommendation with risk involved if any;

• Ensures that all loans handled  are healthy, initiate corrective measure before loans are sick and getting in to NPL together with proposed recommendation

• Ensure that all project loan requests are properly handled both in our side and in the banks side and submits report to supervisor

• Prepares periodic comprehensive loan status reports.

• Performs other related duties as required. 

Job Requirements

Qualification

•   Education:  BA in accounting/ Banking & finance/ Management/economics/related field of study.

  Experience 

• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience in loan and banking business special exposure in credit and/or trade finance position.

• Strong knowledge of loan management, banking, and accounting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent Reporting and Analytical skills

• Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel

• Time management skills
