Job Description
The Database Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security measures of company databases. He/she is responsible for managing and maintaining the company databases, ensuring their availability, security, and optimal performance, creating account data for authorized individuals to access databases and organizing databases so individuals can find important documents in an efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases and other databases across production, development, and test environments.
Monitor and optimize database performance, query optimization, indexing, and database design improvements.
Implement security measures to protect data integrity and privacy, manage backups and recovery processes, and perform regular maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, collaborating with developers and IT staff to provide efficient solutions.
Implement data replication, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions for business continuity.
Ensure that the database is developed according to business requirements.
Prepare reports on database scalability and capacity planning as needed.
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and quality.

Develop best practices for performance and operational efficiency.
Stays updated with new database technologies and analyze such technologies to bring into scope of existing infrastructure.
Job Requirements
Education:
MA/MSC/BA/BSC in Information System/ Commuter Science or related fields of study
Experience:
2 to 4 yrs of experience with Microsoft SQL, preferably in Beverage Industries.
