Essential Function

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand emerging trends, especially in technology and digital banking.

• Analyze financial market trends, regulatory updates, new market developments and customer preferences to anticipate industry changes.

• Prepare reports that provide strategic insights to the Innovation Team, enabling proactive decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with the Innovation Team to identify new market opportunities, assess the feasibility of innovations, and drive strategic projects.

• Research and recommend business partnerships, technological advancements, and product development ideas aligned with the bank’s innovation goals.

• Develop comprehensive business cases for innovation-driven projects, assessing market demand, competitive positioning, and financial viability.

• Assist in crafting roadmaps for the successful rollout of innovative products, ensuring alignment with market needs.

• Provide regular reports to the Innovation Team on potential risks, along with recommended responses.

• Engage in other tasks assigned by the team leader;

• Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Competencies:

• Understanding the global ,domestic macroeconomic issues that affect the bank industry;

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insightful research outputs;

• Proficient in research tools and financial analysis.

• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on presenting market research findings.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and financial technology and digital banking trends.

Job Requirement

• MA/BA in Business, Economics, Finance or other related fields with 3.5/5.5 years of experience in market analysis, innovation, or strategic roles with in the financial sector with at least 2 years as a relevant officer position
