Job Description

Company Background:  Chora Gas and Chemical Factory is a sister company of Amaga Plc that produces oxygen, acetylene, nitrogen, sodium hypochlorite, shoe polish, and floor wax and sells imported items. 

Location: Bulgaria Light, around Genet Hotel

Job Position- Human Resource Manager 

Employment type: Full time

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Design and execute recruitment strategies, and manage the full hiring process including job postings, candidate assessments, and interviews, ensuring the best talent is sourced and selected.

  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and address workplace conflicts.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll administration and perform compensation analyses. Recommend payroll scale adjustments aligned with industry standards and budget considerations.

  • Training and Development: Assess training needs and implement programs to support employee growth and skill development across the organization.

  • Employee Management: Monitor HR metrics like turnover rates and employee satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Experience: 4-5 years of experience as an HR officer/ Manager 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management/ HR management.

  • Prior industry HR experience is preferred  People-oriented and result-driven. 

  • Knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Law and other applicable.
