The Role

The Finance Officer supports the Finance Team in various accounting activities daily. This includes reviewing financial documents and making sure payments are supported with appropriate source documents; preparation and processing of documents for payment, review and coding of financial information and Journal entries as appropriate; assisting in data entry into the system, and maintenance of appropriate finance documentation after verifying all source documents for proper approval.

Roles

• Good command of computer skills (MS-word, MS-Excel) and other Internal Financial software systems,

• Strong organizational and personal management skills, with the ability to prioritize work issues to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through.

• Bachelor (BA) Degree or Diploma from a recognized university/college in Accounting, Accounting, and Finance, or any other related areas that can bring added value to the job.

• Minimum of 3-5 years for BA holders or 6-7 years for Diploma holders experience in finance and project financial management, preferably having 3 years of experience in an international NGO.
