We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Stellar Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for accuracy and organization. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in our finance department, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. 

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner. 

• Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions. 

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. 

• Prepare and draft correspondence for various financial matters. 

• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders as needed. 

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. 

• Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. 

• Post financial transactions to appropriate ledgers and journals. 

• Ensure accuracy of posting and make corrections as needed. 

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and assistance as required. 

• Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. 

• Monitor budget variances and assist in analyzing financial performance. 

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. 

• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
