Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Hawassa

Experience Level: Senior (5+ years of experience)

Salary: Up to 25,000 ETB (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

• Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll management.

• Monitor cash flow, balance sheet, and financial performance, providing recommendations for improvements.

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certification is a plus).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior-level position.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
