Job Description
The financial accounting manager is responsible to analyze key financial information to optimize financial resource management. He/she is also responsible to assist senior business managers with financial decision-making, prepare financial analysis reports, and develop and implement strategies to reduce businesses' operational and production costs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plans, coordinates, manages and controls the financial records function of the company.
Develops and maintains financial record keeping and reporting systems.
Reviews and checks monthly trial balance.
Prepares periodic financial reports and submits to the higher officials.
Ensures that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basis and posting is accurately done.
Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
Produces periodic financial statements including balance sheet, profit/loss statements, retained earnings statement and cash flow statement using company’s preferred accounting system.
Forecasts cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
Applies & maintains a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over accounting activities.
Ensures proper payments are done for completed contracts.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Finance and IT Director.

Job Requirements
Academic requirement:
MA/MSC/BA/BSC in Accounting and Finance or related fields of study
Work experience:
6/8 yrs of experience in finance with at least 3/4 years of experience in managerial positions in Beverage Industries.
