We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing sector, with a proven ability to manage financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Prepare budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances to ensure financial targets are met.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Strong knowledge of accounting softw
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in English and Amharic.
