Job Description
The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible to oversee the HR panning and analytics, engaging on process flow and job designs, employee’s engagement and organizational culture building initiatives. The role holder is also responsible to provide support in the delivery of people and organizational development strategies and operational plans in support of the Dashen Bank values.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the process of man power planning through involvement in the process of analyzing the Bank's capability to sustain itself by examining the people skills and capability to function in the short and long term given current and future needs.
Analyze supplementary budget request from work units and monitor budget transfers.
Exercise professional judgements to propose job evaluation and specification amendment requests.
Update annual manning budget amendments, supplementary budget approvals, budget transfer and related movements.
Diagnose potential organizational problem areas through periodic and pulse surveys, stakeholder engagement and staff forums.
Assist on reviewing appropriate organizational structures that align to Dashen Bank's strategy to maximize organizational effectiveness.
Periodically update the organizational chart to reflect any changes in structure or staff head count.
Participate on process of job creation/design, definition, analysis, evaluation and/or grading, as and when required.
Keep custody of job descriptions and continuously review and update as appropriate.
Participate in the process of developing job families and carrier path models based on functional, managerial and behavioral competencies.
Contribute to the development of identifying critical positions for succession planning.
Promote a culture of organizational learning at Dashen Bank where best practices are shared and disseminated both internally and externally.
Collect and analyze data on employee engagement and satisfaction through related KPIs and other methods and continuously report and initiate programs to ensure that it is at required level.
Assist periodic assessment and reporting of culture perception at the Bank and design appropriate interventions.
Provide support to line management on matters relating to culture and implementation of culture initiatives.
Liaise with culture champions across the Bank to closely monitor culture improvement.
Other Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Bank policies, practices, procedures, risk controls and guidelines in carrying out duties.
Ensure 100% to risk management policies and framework.
Drive customer centricity by ensuring all internal/external client request are resolved within 12 hours of receipt
Ensure effective and proper utilization of resources.
Ensure that tasks are completed to the agreed standards within the agreed time Scales.
Approve payment within discretionary limit set by the Bank.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration and/or other related fields.
Diploma/Certificate on statistics or related field is an added advantage.
At least Six (6)years’ relevant, post-qualification experience in a similar role.

Track record in delivering successful OD projects and supporting organizational change; influencing, building and sustaining relationships in order to achieve results.
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and produce reports.
