Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Data modeling, designing, and supporting data storage in the data mart.
Perform various operations on data including validation, cleansing, and transformations to generate useful information.
Develop PLSQL / SQL procedures for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
Perform query optimization, and query profiling and utilize query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Develop and utilize advanced analytics to enable the business to make data-driven decisions.
Provide reporting and analytical support of the CVM data mart to the business units.
Assist with data governance and data quality management.
Job Requirement
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
BS or MS in computer science or equivalent practical experience
At least 2-3 years of experience in data modeling, designing, and supporting data storage in relational databases.
At least 2 years of Experience in developing data pipelines or extracting transform load jobs
At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle and MSSQ
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoD
Coding experience using Java/python/R/SQL/ PLSQL
Experience in collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
Proficient understanding of databases at the logical, physical, and conceptual levels.
Understanding of big data technologies
