Role Purpose
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, support data analytics platforms, and conduct unit testing and troubleshooting as an ideal candidate.
Key Accountabilities and decision ownership:
Clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business improvements.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business needs into data requirements.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, methodologies, and analytical frameworks.
Assist in training team members on BI tools and best practices for data analysis.
Create compelling visual representations of data to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders effectively.
Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data analytics projects.
Job Requirement
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
Proven experience as a BI Data Analyst
Industry experience is preferred.
Background in data analysis and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, ODI)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
