Selam Children’s Village (SCV) and Selam Technical and Vocational College (STVC), in partnership with bbw gGmbH, are implementing a youth employment project named “Bavarian Ethiopian Youth Employment Promotion Project – BE-YEPP,” which focuses on short-term qualifications and labor market integration for Ethiopian youth. As part of this initiative, we are seeking qualified and experienced trainers to provide instruction in the mentioned fields. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in their respective areas and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training modules on their respective relevant field.

• Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.

• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and practices in the field.

• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance the training program.

• Facilitate alternative cooperative training by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

• Support students in practical applications and projects related to their training programs.

Job Requirement

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field.

  • A minimum of 4 years of training experience for Master’s degree holders or 6 years for Bachelor’s degree holders, with a preference for 2 years of industry experience for Master’s holders and 4 years for Bachelor’s holders.

  • Certification in Trainer Methodology and demonstrated competency in National Competency Assessment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate students.

  • Familiarity with current industry standards and practices in the respective field.
