Manager quality control is responsible for ensuring the system of inspection, analysis, and action applied to a manufacturing process so that, by inspecting a small portion of the product currently produced, an analysis of its quality can be made to determine what action is required on the operation to achieve and maintain the desired level of quality

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organize, plan, direct, coordinate, and control the quality control activities of the plant;

• Ensure that laboratory equipment and chemicals required for quality control activities are adequately fulfilled on time;

• Carry out quality control activities on raw materials, packing materials, finished products, and any other inputs and outputs;

• Formulate analytical techniques, methodologies, and procedures; to be used in quality assurance activities;

• Verify the sanitation of machinery, production facilities, and accessories; supervise the application of pesticides and pest control;

• Ensure that proper sampling is carried out so that accurate analysis can be determined;

• Ensure the timely calibration of laboratory equipment and devices as per the OEM recommendations;

• Implement and monitor, in cooperation with all other departments concerned, the Food Safety Management System of the company; ensure that the systems and procedures are active and always

• Review reports of test results and present the RCA to identify and eradicate the  problems;

• Cooperate with all concerned government and other bodies, statutory bodies, or other regulatory and supervisory exercises;

• Participates in workers skill upgrading programs;

• Training of workers for food safety and hygiene methods:

• Supervise and evaluate the performances of your subordinates;

• Prepare and submit the periodic performance reports; 

• Performs any other related duties as directed by the head of quality & R&D, and plant manager from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS: -

·       Mininium bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.

·       Experience in an oil and solvent extraction plant for 5+ years in a management role.

·       Proven experience in technology evaluation and delivering to business needs.

Experience: -

• 5+years’ experience as a quality control manager in the oil industry and solvent extraction plant and knowledge of assurance technology, Research & Development processing, or Manufacturing roles
