Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Workshop Manager with a strong mechanical engineering background and extensive expertise in welding, cutting, and workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and a proven track record of over 20 years in the field, including 15 years of hands-on experience in welding and cutting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Plan, schedule, and supervise workshop activities, including equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
Lead a team of skilled workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor and manage the workshop’s inventory, tools, and materials.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to support production and project timelines.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on workshop performance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in the mechanical engineering field.
At least 15 years of practical expertise in welding, cutting, and related workshop activities.
Strong understanding of workshop equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
Skills and Competencies:Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership and team management abilities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
In-depth knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, tools, and standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
