We are looking for a Coordinator, Program who will manage WASH initiatives by coordinating reporting and work planning with PSI teams and partners, compiling reports for donors and the Government of Ethiopia, and synthesizing information for internal use. Key duties include support the communication team in developing communication materials, planning events, meetings and conferences, tracking project timelines, and overseeing logistics. The role also involves managing documentation, ensuring compliance, tracking inventory, and supporting procurement.
Coordinate periodic program reporting (biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) and work planning inputs from the PSI team and consortium partners.
Compile and prepare reports for submission to donors and Government of Ethiopia (GoE).
Work across departments to produce monthly updates, disseminate lessons learned to implementing partners and regional PSI teams, and support MLE team in dissemination of information (from DHIS2 and other platforms) for management meetings and presentations.
Support the communication team on identification and development of stories, articles, blogs, and news for program knowledge sharing.
Coordinate with communication team in preparation of communication materials (e.g., newsletters, briefs, presentations) for internal and external audiences, including donors and partners.
Liaise with consortium partners to ensure timely and quality report submissions.
Facilitate communication among team members and ensure alignment with project goals.
Plan and coordinate key events such as regular meetings, trainings, workshops, and events.
Document outcomes, follow up on action points with relevant team members, and coordinate logistical arrangements for field visits, including travel, accommodation, and venue booking.
Monitor project schedules, adhere to timelines, and adjust as needed.
Maintain and organize all program documentation, including proposals, contracts, amendments, and agreements in coordination with CLA Director.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely & efficient acquisition of supplies/ services.
Track program inventory and assets, ensuring proper use, storage, and maintenance.
Facilitate the uploading of documents into the D-tracker internal control system.
Collaborate with national and regional staff to ensure accurate & timely cost-sharing data collection.
Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the CoP/DCoP, Program Lead, and other program staff.
Qualification, experience, and additional skills
MA/ BA in Project Management, Public/Environmental Health, Sociology, Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development, or related field.
4 years of relevant work experience for MA and 6 years for BA degree.
Certifications in specific technical areas relevant to the role like project management, WASH, etc.
Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent organizational & time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail in project documentation, budgeting, and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
Understanding of M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) concepts and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with diverse groups of people.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written, is usually essential.
Basic understanding of budgeting, financial management, and procurement processes.
