Job Description

The main objective of the Misrach Handicraft Training and Rehabilitation Centre is to train and rehabilitate people with disability in social and vocational fields.
The project manager is responsible for directing the efforts of all involved towards the attainment of this goal. The project manager shall perform the following duties and responsibilities, subject to the overall guidance, direction and supervision by the Executive Director of SNE.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare long and short-term plan of operation and budget of the project and follow- up its implementation after obtaining the necessary approval.

• Co-ordinate the various activities of the project
• Prepare quarterly and annual activities reports of the project
• Ensure the guidelines and decisions of the management of SNE are enforced
• Oversee the recruitment of trainees and control that the necessary training is carried out according to the curriculum, assist in the rehabilitation possibilities for those who successfully complete the training program
• Supervise the accounts of the project and ensure the timely closing and auditing of the same
• Supervise that the technical department is operational and effective
• Involve in the recruitment of new staff and sign the workers contract
• Oversee systems to ensure that training and employment contracts are issued, renewed or terminated as required
• Update administration and financial procedure and manuals of the project
• Sign or delegate to sign memos and agreements for supplies and procurement of materials.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to prepare long-term and short-term operational plans and budgets.

  • Proven experience in implementing approved plans effectively.

  • Expertise in coordinating diverse project activities.

  • Experience supervising technical departments to ensure effectiveness.

  • Skills in preparing quarterly and annual activity reports.

  • Ability to enforce organizational guidelines and management decisions.

  • Competence in overseeing recruitment processes for trainees and staff.

  • Familiarity with implementing training programs and rehabilitation opportunities.

  • Knowledge of supervising project accounts and ensuring timely audits.

  • Experience in updating administrative and financial procedures and manuals.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with government, NGOs, and private organizations.

  • Capability to organize and facilitate management and sectional meetings.

  • Ability to write proposals for new initiatives.

  • Flexibility to handle additional duties as assigned.
