We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Logistics Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards and are delivered efficiently.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance and Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the quality control and logistics operations within the export department. This includes overseeing loading, unloading, cleaning, packing, and container dispatch of pulses, oil seeds, and coffee. The ideal candidate will ensure all commodities meet quality standards, are properly packed, and are efficiently dispatched to vessels for export.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Coordinate and supervise loading and unloading of commodities from the source location, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality.

• Quality Control: Oversee the cleaning and preparation of agro commodities, ensuring they meet quality standards before packing and export.

• Packing Supervision: Ensure accurate and efficient packing of commodities, maintaining consistency in weight and labeling requirements for export.

• Container Loading and Dispatch: Oversee the loading of packed commodities into containers and arrange timely dispatch to vessels, coordinating with logistics providers.

• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all quality assurance and logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, export requirements, and client specifications.

• Inventory Management: Track stock levels and manage inventory to optimize logistics operations.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Agriculture, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field.

• Proven experience in quality assurance and/or logistics within the agro-commodity sector, preferably with pulses, oil seeds, or coffee.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance.

• Language Skills: Proficient in English with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Knowledge of export regulations and logistics processes is an advantage.
