Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled senior accountant to join our client (A business in manufacturing, for a well-known brand beauty products). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting within the retail sector, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
Provide guidance and support in accounting best practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the retail & manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
