Job Description
The intern will support health system strengthening (HSS) activities under the supervision of the HSS Specialist. This role includes assisting with planning, organizing, and monitoring nutrition-related activities in collaboration with the Regional, Zonal and Woreda level government counterparts and other partners. The intern will gain hands-on experience in capacity building, mentorship, and quality improvement processes related to HSS efforted for nutirition service programing at Health facility and Community level.
Assist in planning and implementing health system activities related to nutrition.
Support capacity-building planning and organizing for health workers and community volunteers.
Contribute to improving the quality of nutrition services by supporting quality improvement initiatives and efforts in the planning, organizing and communication parts of the preparation.
Collaborate with team members to prepare reports and project documentation.
Work closely with government and partner teams to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
Assist with collecting and organizing data for program monitoring at office
Recent graduate on degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field.
Interest in learning about health systems and nutrition programs.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Learning Opportunities
