The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the company's sales and marketing efforts, playing a critical role in driving revenue and expanding market share. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent leadership skills, and aspirations to grow into senior
leadership roles. The role encompasses strategy development, team management, campaign execution, and collaboration with various departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders in the construction industry.

• Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring accountability and high performance.

• Identify new business opportunities and oversee the preparation of proposals and bids. 

Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and promote products/services.

•  Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based initiatives.

• Analyze market trends and customer behavior to refine strategies and offerings.

Team Management and Collaboration

• Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.

•  Foster collaboration with other departments, including operations and finance, to ensure alignment with business goals.

• Provide regular reports to the CEO on sales performance and marketing initiatives.

Budget and Performance Oversight

•  Manage and allocate the sales and marketing budget effectively.

• Track and evaluate the performance of campaigns and sales efforts, ensuring continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.

• 8–10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction industry.

• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve revenue growth targets.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the construction sector and market dynamics.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•  Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords).

• Financial acumen and ability to align sales and marketing efforts with broader business objectives.

• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Languages:
• Proficiency in English and Amharic.
