Kayu Technologies PLC is looking to hire a professional Driver to provide safe, efficient, and timely transportation services for the General Manager (GM) and their family. The ideal candidate will ensure the vehicle is cleaned, perfumed daily, and maintained in excellent condition, while adhering to strict professional standards, including no alcohol consumption during work hours or while on duty.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to transport the General Manager and their family comfortably and safely. The Driver will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism, ensuring the vehicle is washed, cleaned, and perfumed daily before travel, performing routine safety checks, assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups, and handling occasional travel assignments outside Addis Ababa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport the General Manager in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner.

• Drop off and pick up the GM’s children from school and transport them to activities such as swimming, painting classes, and other events.

• Wash, clean, and perfume the vehicle daily before travel.

• Perform daily vehicle cleaning and routine safety checks to ensure optimal functionality.

• Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and handle minor repairs when needed.

• Plan routes efficiently based on road and traffic conditions.

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

• Strictly abstain from alcohol consumption during work hours or while on duty, including night shifts.

• Adapt to flexible schedules, including occasional weekend and night shifts.

• Occasionally travel outside Addis Ababa for field assignments.

• Provide polite and professional service at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Eduction: A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical school certificate in Auto Mechanics is an advantage.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Driver (3-5 years or more).

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.

• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.

• Knowledge of roads and neighborhoods in Addis Ababa.

• Availability for occasional weekend, evening, and field travel assignments.

Required Skills:

• A polite and professional attitude with excellent time-management skills.

• Ability to remain calm under stressful driving conditions (e.g., during rush hour).

Additional Drivers Required

We are also hiring Fleet Drivers to support company operations. Responsibilities for these roles include transporting goods or employees, ensuring vehicle safety, and adhering to company schedules.

Working Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with occasional travel outside the city.

Gross Salary: 14,800 ETB
