The Assistant Deputy General Manager will provide strategic and operational oversight for the processing plant. He will be accountable for upholding the highest standards aligned to safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and Productive l performance.

The Assistant Deputy General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility from production to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The position holder will be responsible to maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. He will be responsible for demonstrating leadership that reflects ABAYS trading Ventures’ culture and values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the General Manager: Assisting with the planning, development, implementation, and oversight of company projects and initiatives 

• Overseeing operations: Ensuring that the company's operations are running smoothly 

• Budgeting: Being responsible for budgeting 

• Hiring and evaluating employees: Being involved in hiring and evaluating company employees 

• Providing strategic insights: Contributing strategic insights from their experience 

• Other skills that may be useful for this role include: Excellent communication, Leadership, Multitasking, and Problem-solving. 

Job Requirements

Qualification: From recognized university or college graduate BSc Degree in Food Sciences and Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing or any other similar field of study.

Requirements: Worked on Food processing manufacture for 5+ years’ experience in FMCG industry and have a demonstrated and proven experience in working and managing employees in food industries at managerial position Familiar with operations of manufacturing industries roles and regulatory requirements. Analytical ability, Problem Solving and Systems Thinking, Financial and Cost analysis skills are advantageous
