Job Description
Share Administration Accountant is responsible for participating on activities related to shareholder payments including rising and plough back of shares, proration of dividends, and maintenance of shareholder records for proper accounting. In addition the role holder is also responsible for the timely reporting of equity transactions.
Job Requirements
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or business related field.
Experience
Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Good knowledge of Accounts Analysis and Reconciliation.
Good grasp Taxation & relevant legislation.
General understanding of banking laws and regulations.
Experience in accounting software
Strong analytical skills
