Metropolitan Real Estate PLC is looking for a Structural General foreman to coordinate and supervise their team of crew members. The foreman will be responsible for training new workers and will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. They will also ensure construction equipment is properly maintained; and keep projects on schedule and within allotted budgets. The candidate should be extremely organized with excellent time management, leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of construction procedures and equipment, especially for concrete casting, steel structure and HCB work.

• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.

• Ability to problem-solve and fix routine errors.

• Ability to do a precise work considering the following finishing works.

• Supervise and coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans

• Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and quality of construction works is standard 

• Producing working schedules for site personnel and monitoring attendance of crew

• Allocating general and daily responsibilities to daily crews and contractors

• Supervise the use of resource, machinery, and equipment 

• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

• Resolve problems when they arise between site personnel 

• Prepare a report on daily and weekly progress to site engineer and other chiefs on site

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: -

Education: - Civil Engineering- Sanitary / TVET (Technical and vocational education and training)  

Experience: - 8 - 12 years in similar field
