Job Description

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the sales Division Head in the overall vehicles’ sales activities of the Company; involve in the sales action plan preparation processes; monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts; provide complete and relevant information customers; prepare pro forma invoices and sales orders; examine and respond to customer complaints; and keep sales documents safe.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Showroom Sales Representative to join our team and help customers make the switch to Electric Vehicles (EVs). In this role, you will not only showcase the latest EV models but also assist customers in securing financing through microfinance loans, making EVs more accessible to a wider range of buyers. You will play a crucial role in educating potential customers about the benefits of EVs and guiding them through the entire purchasing process.

Required Number: 2 (Two) 

Location: Hawassa 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist showroom visitors in selecting the right electric vehicle (EV) based on their needs, budget, and lifestyle.

  • Provide detailed product demonstrations, explaining features, benefits, and advantages of EVs, including battery life, charging options, and cost savings.

  • Understand and assess customer financial needs, offering tailored solutions for financing via microfinance loans.

  • Guide customers through the process of applying for microfinance loans to purchase an EV.

  • Ensure customers meet eligibility criteria for loan products and assist in the completion of necessary documentation.

  • Close sales by overcoming objection(s); complete sales or purchase contracts; explain provisions; offer services, warranties and financing; collect payment and deliver vehicle.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively closing deals.

  • Ensure that vehicles are properly displayed in show rooms and that the show room is clean and attractive.

  • Follow-up on customer orders till delivery is finalized.

  • Prepare pro forma invoices, sales contract and sales orders.

  • Check vehicle sales contracts, invoices and other relevant documents.

  • Investigate customer complaints and provide solution to problems causing those complaints.

  • Respond to sales inquiries in person or via phone, e-mail, social platforms, etc.

  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

  • Maintain customer’s data base for future reference.

  • Build positive relationship with customers by keeping good rapport, responding to inquiries, and undertaking sales campaigns and promotions.

  • Maintain vehicles sales activity records and reports.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly semi-annually, and sales reports.

Job Requirements

Qualification                    

  •  Diploma or BA in Marketing, Management or related field

Work Experience            

  •   4 years for Diploma and 2 years BA graduate in relevant role

Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer skill

  • Communication skill (both verbal and written)

  • Understanding of accounting or finance

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
