Job Description
The Digital and Marketing Expert will play a pivotal role in expanding the digital presence of McCormick Agricultural Machinery under the Kerchanshe Group portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for driving both traditional and digital marketing efforts, promoting McCormick tractors, and supporting sales growth in Ethiopia, Djibouti, and South Sudan. This individual will be required to have a strong skill set in digital marketing, market strategy, and information gathering, with a particular focus on the agricultural machinery and tractor dealership business. Creativity, innovation, and an artistic eye are key components of the role, as the individual will need to develop engaging marketing content and execute campaigns that resonate with target customers.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance McCormick’s online presence across all platforms (website, social media, SEO/SEM, etc.).
Manage and grow social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Monitor and analyze online marketing campaigns, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to adjust strategies and improve performance.
Implement email marketing campaigns targeting potential and existing customers, focusing on product offerings, promotions, and company news.
Ensure content creation is optimized for various digital platforms, ensuring all messaging aligns with McCormick’s brand identity and values.
Market Strategy and Information Gathering:
Conduct market research to assess market share, identify competitor strategies, and analyze trends within the agricultural machinery and tractor markets.
Develop reports on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior to support decision-making processes and sales strategy.
Evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Traditional Marketing and Brand Promotion:
Prepare and manage the creation of promotional materials (brochures, flyers, posters, advertisements, etc.) for print and distribution.
Organize and participate in business fairs, expos, and other industry events to increase McCormick’s visibility and network with potential clients.
Develop branding materials that resonate with local markets, keeping in mind cultural nuances and industry trends.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align marketing strategies with sales objectives, ensuring an integrated approach to customer acquisition.
Sales Support:
Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop sales enablement materials that support the sales team in driving sales for McCormick tractors.
Create promotional campaigns designed to support specific sales targets and generate leads for the sales team.
Assist in the creation of pricing strategies and sales collateral tailored to the agricultural machinery market.
Creative Campaigns and Branding:
Conceptualize, create, and execute creative marketing campaigns that highlight McCormick’s product offerings and differentiate them from competitors.
Ensure that all digital and traditional content aligns with McCormick’s branding and messaging guidelines.
Develop and implement advertising campaigns across various digital and traditional platforms, including print, radio, TV, and outdoor advertisements.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
Coordinate with external partners such as advertising agencies, media houses, and printing companies to execute marketing campaigns efficiently.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital and traditional marketing, preferably in the agricultural machinery or tractor dealership business.
Skills:
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, social media management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, Google Analytics).
Strong understanding of market research and analysis tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with a flair for design and visual storytelling.
Ability to design or oversee the creation of marketing materials (graphics, brochures, online ads, etc.).
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Experience in event planning and participation in expos and trade shows.
Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to meet objectives.

Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when required for event participation or campaign deadlines
