Job Description
RTI International is seeking a short-term independent contractor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the RTI Project Coordinator the procurement and logistics contractor will:
Collect quotes for all relevant procurements, i.e., outfitting the office, IT equipment, additional office supplies and hotels
Provide support for vehicle rental procurement
Provide courier support for shipments to/from HQ
Support regional and international travelers on matters related to visas, coordinating hotel arrangements, etc.
Provide support for administrative tasks around the office
Support other logistics, administrative, and coordination tasks, as needed
Level of Effort:
Anticipated level of effort is up to 20 days on a part-time, as needed, basis for the below referenced period of performance. The services will be performed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The consultant is expected to be flexible and communicative during this time.
ODCs:
Other direct costs, including reimbursement for gas mileage and a communications allowance will be provided.
Period of Performance:
January 15, 2025 to March 14, 2025.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Professional training in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics management is preferred.
Knowledge of USAID procurement policies and regulations preferred.
3 to 5 years of logistics and procurement support, preferably with project startup.
