RTI International is seeking a short-term independent contractor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under the guidance of the RTI Project Coordinator the procurement and logistics contractor will:

• Collect quotes for all relevant procurements, i.e., outfitting the office, IT equipment, additional office supplies and hotels

• Provide support for vehicle rental procurement

• Provide courier support for shipments to/from HQ

• Support regional and international travelers on matters related to visas, coordinating hotel arrangements, etc.

• Provide support for administrative tasks around the office

• Support other logistics, administrative, and coordination tasks, as needed

Level of Effort:

• Anticipated level of effort is up to 20 days on a part-time, as needed, basis for the below referenced period of performance. The services will be performed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The consultant is expected to be flexible and communicative during this time.

ODCs:

• Other direct costs, including reimbursement for gas mileage and a communications allowance will be provided.

Period of Performance:

• January 15, 2025 to March 14, 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Professional training in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics management is preferred.

• Knowledge of USAID procurement policies and regulations preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of logistics and procurement support, preferably with project startup.
