Job Description

The Client Relations and Partnerships Manager is responsible for generating income, building partnerships, and fostering relationships with private schools, corporations, and institutions. This role involves approaching potential clients, preparing compelling proposals, and securing business opportunities. Additionally, the Manager will contribute to the organization’s branding and visibility through internally led marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a strong background in business development and stakeholder engagement, complemented by a creative approach to branding and organizational promotion. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements 

  1. Client Engagement and Proposal Development

    • Approach potential clients to establish partnerships.

    • Prepare customized proposals that align with client needs and Biruh Zega’s goals.

    • Ensure effective communication and implementation of agreements with clients.

  2. Business Development

    • Identify and secure income-generating opportunities through fee-based programs.

    • Create strategies to bring in new business and expand the client base.

    • Foster long-term client relationships for repeat business.

  3. Corporate Partnerships and CSR Engagement

    • Collaborate with corporations to leverage CSR initiatives for funding and partnerships.

    • Design training programs tailored to corporate needs.

  4. Branding and Marketing (Internal Focus)

    • Develop marketing strategies and materials to promote the organization.

    • Create brochures, presentations, and digital content.

    • Represent the organization at networking events and conferences.

  5. Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.

    • Ensure effective communication to foster trust and collaboration.

  6. Market Research and Strategic Growth

    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

    • Develop strategies to expand Biruh Zega’s impact.

  7. Organizational Sustainability and Alignment

    • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development with organizational priorities.

    • Ensure initiatives contribute to the sustainability and growth of Biruh Zega.

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience 

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development, client management, or partnership roles.
