Job Description
The Human Resource and Training Development Manager will play a dual role by managing internal HR functions and driving the development and delivery of impactful training programs for both internal and external stakeholders. This role focuses on designing high-quality training outlines, ensuring course quality, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. Additionally, the position involves developing HR policies, supporting staff development, and building partnerships with external trainers and collaborators to enhance Biruh Zega’s mission.
Requirements
Training Program Development and Quality Assurance
Design and deliver training outlines for teachers, parents, leaders, and students.
Ensure the quality and relevance of training courses align with organizational goals.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvements.
Human Resource Management
Perform all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and staff retention.
Develop and enforce HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry best practices.
Foster a supportive and motivating work environment for all staff members.
Collaboration and External Partnership Building
Identify and collaborate with local and international trainers, coaches, and facilitators.
Facilitate exchange programs for staff to learn from other organizations.
Provide resources for external partners to deliver impactful training programs.
Internal and External Talent Development
Design and implement in-house training programs.
Recommend external training opportunities for staff growth and development.
Equip the organization with tools and resources to improve productivity.
Additional Responsibilities
Seek and implement innovative methods to improve HR practices and training initiatives.
Monitor and report on the impact of HR and training activities.
Act as a liaison between Biruh Zega and external stakeholders.
Education
Master’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience in human resources, training, or talent development roles.
