Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Requirements:
Educational Background:
• Advanced degree in Information Technology, Information Management, GIS, Computer Sciences or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a similar position, managing complex projects with a focus on humanitarian/development information management, GIS analysis, database management, data visualization, data analysis, and capacity strengthening in these fields.
• Proven ability to implement a service focused approach, ensuring high quality client satisfaction and engagement.
• Knowledge of the humanitarian ecosystem and coordination mechanisms
• Understanding of data QA/QC processes for information management.
• Knowledge of software engineering theory and applications (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of programming theory and relational database principles (preferred).
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
• Knowledge and practical experience of current GIS software and mobile data collection software (ArcGIS, Google Earth, QGIS, and KoBo and/or ODK)
• Experience in developing software solutions, dashboards, infographics.
• Knowledge and practical experience of Adobe Illustrator is desirable.
• Knowledge and practical experience of database development desirable.
