Taking the responsibility of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of compliance management plan to ensure the food assistance transfer standards are maintained at all levels. Also maintains the level of standard of food assistance delivery in accordance to World Vision food assistance manual, World Vision compliance response mechanism, donor requirements and standard operating procedures including environmental compliance. The job holder also provides expert support in ensuring and implementing program accountability and compliance to WFP and WVI requirements in program intervention.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To ensure compliance activities are executed so that program accountability, requirements and results are met and delivered.
Ensure the support in refining tools, mechanisms and systems to make sure the establishment of quality commodity management.
Support in improving monitoring systems, revise tools and mechanisms to establish quality commodity management in terms of warehousing, documentation, overall commodity flow and food transfer.
To enable planning and conduct field visit to ensure evidences are verified and open findings/gaps are closed as per standards and requirements.
To facilitate the coordination among both HO and field offices staff in which compliance activities are conducted accordingly.
To make certain the preparation of follow up matrix sheet based on observed findings so that they are closed in a timely manner.
Ensure representation of WVE in external meetings and technical working group to confirm compliance and risk monitoring issues are addressed
To help field staff in developing their capacity on commodity management to ensure compliance is sustainably and effectively maintained.
Work Location: Miessio (Somalia Region) and Doba (West Hararge Zone)

Job Requirements
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:
BA or BSC in Rural Development, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Accounting, Management and related social fields of studies.
Required Professional Experience:
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Strong knowledge and working understanding on Emergency Food resource management;
Experience and knowledge of USAID/BHA funded emergency food assistance projects, Red Cross code of Conduct, SPHERE Standard and HAP standard;
Comprehensive experience on USAID/BHA funded food program interventions (knowledge of WFP & WV commodity management policy) is mandatory
Technical knowledge & skill advantageous particularly on LMMS, CCTS, JAM, CTP, environmental compliance, emergency safety & security;
Good understanding of humanitarian standards
Good knowledge of local context
INGO experience
Ability to work in high tension and high security risk situations
Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
