Role

  • Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Identify and implement operational improvements to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

  • Supervise inventory management systems to maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards at the factory site

  • Lead and manage factory staff, including production supervisors and line workers, to achieve operational goals.

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote safety awareness.

  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with HR to ensure adequate staffing levels and manage recruitment for factory operations roles.

  • Foster a positive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.

  • Ensure company policies and procedures are clearly communicated and adhered to by all staff.

  • Work with the HR team to review and approve time-sheets and ensure accurate payroll processing.

  • Use production and operational data to inform decision-making and drive efficiency.

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of operational initiatives.

  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports on operational performance to senior management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience:

  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or factory setting.
